This family owned and run business, established in 1981, has entertained more than 2.5 Million people since it's inception. Established as the first commercial crocodile farm in South Africa, Riverbend continues to diversify. Now also home to one of the finest selections of wine in the region and an art gallery, which is home to the works of leading South African artists.

Riverbend Art and Wine Gallery
As an added attraction to the crocodiles Riverbend Art Gallery was opened in 1984.
Since then this gallery has prided itself in being home to the works of many top South African Artists including Nils Anderson, Louis Audie, David Mbele, Billy Molokeng, Godfrey Ndaba, Isaac Sithole, Anton Benzon, Father Claerhout, Robert Dumijan, Izidor Duarte, Dino Paravano, Titta Fasciotti, Rob Wareing, Rob McIntosh, John Smith, Kobus Kotze, Peter Hall, Richard Rennie, Coral Spenser, Isabel Le Roux, Mark Poisson, Marke Meyer, Wim Rautenbach, Kim Donaldson, Branco Dimitrov, Diane Erasmus, Nicola Firth, Glendine, Wallace Hulley, Nora Newton, Rob McKenzie, Mpenja, Johan Oldert, Tony De Freitas, Willie Strydom, Chris Tugwell, and many others.
Recognising the connection between fine art and good wine a collection of fine estate wines have found a home in a cellar housed in the new Riverbend Art and Wine Gallery constructed in 2005.
