Sunwich Port Beach

Sunwich Port Beach is one of the South Coast gems it has a wonderful child friendly tidal pool, rocks to explore, safe swimming area (with shark nets) that is watched over by attentive life guards and has a wonderful scenic walk along the beach.  It is also a popular spot for snorkeling and to cast your fishing lines from the rocks or from the shore while you are enjoying the beautiful views as you wait for the big one to bite.

Sunwich Port Beach can be easily reached from the parking area by way of a walkway that passes next to the life guards’ building and ablution facilities.

At the far side of the parking area a short dirt road leads to a separate braai area under the trees, a quieter area of the beach.

The tidal pool has a shallow side of the pool that is ideal for smaller children.
